Mike, that place was called Sufridge. It was developed in the 1920s and 1930s as an isolated playground for the wealthy. Many prominent celebrities had beautiful homes built there. After the jet age in the 1950s, you had to literally stop talking when they took off. Later homeowners were forced to sell their property to the city and it was closed off.

I've read that the price for renting on rodeo drive is around 100$/square foot. That doesn't say much to me as a European. However, I read an ad online where the rents on rodeo drive was 3000$/day and up. This is all because of capitalism. Happening in many many other places too.

That is some funny shit. Those motorhomes and travel trailers etc. Are more crowded than as if they would have stayed home. I could not even think of camping being that crowded in. Some weird people

The Southern cal. Beaches are pretty cool. But now the government, city and state have set so many rules for their beaches they're just no fun anymore. Signs everywhere. The further north you go the better the beaches are. More scenic drives.
